The Realm of Possibilities

I know, for the last few weeks, I've posted a writing prompt that I found elsewhere, but today, I want to try something different.  As writers, you have probably heard the phrase: Write What You Know.  Well, for today's writing implement, I want you to write about something you know nothing about.  Here's the catch: I don't want you to seek any outside help or do any kind of research.  Don't even ask a friend about it.

How can this be accomplished, you might be wondering?  I've heard people tell me that writers are just paid liars.  All a person really has to do is tell a whopper of a lie with enough supporting details (more lies) that it could be possible.  It doesn't have to be true: it just has to sound like it could be.  With that in mind, I leave you with your daily writing prompt: Lie.  Fill a page with nothing but lies and make me believe that you know what you're talking about.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.
