Can You Hear It?

The following advice will certainly come in handy in your writing.  I rely on it every time I write anything.  Sometimes, the best way to know if you have made a mistake is to read the words aloud.  Your ears will tell you if it seems unnatural or clunky.  Pretend it is a speech and you are trying to make your case.  If the words or phrasing seem irregular or just don't seem to make sense, better that you find out before sharing it with the world.  As writers, we are our own worst critics, so correct your mistakes, but don't let them haunt you.
