John Steinbeck offers some wise words below about writing.  Lately, we have talked about inspiration, the importance of connections, and how to stay motivated, but it all boils down to one simple sentence: until it is written, there can be no correcting it.  You have heard me say that you can't edit a blank page and that is absolutely true.  Remember, the best writing is similar to an unruly teenager: it doesn't think before it talks, it doesn't care about authority, and it is not afraid of exploring dark places.  Trust in your writing; trust in yourself.
